Details
A 24 GHz radar presence sensor. Unlike a passive-infrared motion detector, radar sees micro-movement - breathing, a hand on a keyboard - so a room does not go dark because someone stopped moving.
It ships in two radio variants. The Zigbee variant joins a Zigbee network through a gateway and the supplier does not name which models pair with it; the Wi-Fi variant joins a 2.4 GHz router directly. Choose the variant before you order, because the two are not interchangeable in the field.
Use it for occupancy: lighting that follows a person, HVAC that stops cooling an empty room. It is not a burglar alarm - it reports presence, and it has no tamper switch and no siren.
