Details
A Wi-Fi temperature and humidity sensor that runs on two AAA cells. That detail matters more than it sounds: AAA is the cell every building already has a box of, so a hundred sensors do not create a CR2032 procurement problem.
It is rated IP65, which covers dust and jets of water from any direction. That opens up bathrooms, plant rooms and covered outdoor positions; it does not make the sensor submersible.
Wi-Fi only, so there is no gateway in the chain. The supplier lists RoHS and CE compliance, which are European schemes. It does not list an FCC ID or a UL file, so this page makes no US certification claim - if you need one, ask the supplier for the FCC ID before ordering.
