Details
A Zigbee contact sensor for doors and windows, built on the DS08 platform. It comes in two housing variants - A-type and B-type - and neither has a tamper switch, which matters if you were expecting an anti-removal alarm.
The radio is Zigbee, so a gateway is part of the system. The supplier does not name compatible gateway models and we have not paired this sensor with one, so treat gateway selection as your decision, not ours.
Alarm current is rated at 5 mA, unusually low for a contact sensor, and the supplier gives no standby figure or battery life. The unit is 45 g in a 7.8 x 6.2 x 2.1 cm box, which packs efficiently: fifty units weigh a little over two kilos before outer carton.
