A thermostatic radiator valve head with a radio in it. You unscrew the manual wheel, screw this on, and the radiator now has a schedule. There is no drain-down, no wiring, and no plumber - which is why this category sells in Europe and increasingly in older North American hydronic buildings.
The important variable is the thread. The supplier lists TR-M5, TR-M3 and TR-M2 variants in both Wi-Fi and Zigbee, and those are different valve bodies, not different colours. Measure the existing valve before ordering: a wrong thread means returning a box of twenty.
It is 54 x 88 x 54 mm at 235 g, battery powered (the supplier does not publish cell count or battery life), and sold by the unit. Wi-Fi variants talk to the app directly; Zigbee variants need a coordinator. The supplier does not list a certification for this SKU.
Each line below is one combination: this device, that hub, that firmware — with the date it was checked on the right. For ecosystems not listed here, we make no claim.
Editor’s note: The thread variant is the deciding specification here and the supplier lists three, in two radio options each. We did not receive a valve-compatibility chart, so the page tells you to measure rather than claiming a universal fit. Battery count and battery life are absent from the supplier's table and are not guessed. No certification is listed for this SKU, so none is claimed.

The Zigbee version of the retrofit radiator head - one coordinator covers every radiator in the building.
